Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA 15216 (Dormont) is seeking a Residential Support Specialist for an evening shift. You will provide individualized care, assist with daily living activities, administer medications as needed, and support residents in behavioral plans.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive organization vehicle.
Access to transportation travel locally.
Act 33/34/73 clearances.
Pre-employment drug screen and TB/physical.
Must pass Department of Public Welfare medication training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized care to residents, developing and implementing care plans.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, meals, and medications.
Implement behavioral support plans with the team to manage behaviors.
Organize community activities and outings to support engagement.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate progress and challenges.
