Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Care Advisor to support adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Serious Mental Illness in a 56-bed Personal Care Home in Wilkinsburg, PA. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and community engagement, with evening hours and a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to drive an organizational vehicle.
• Act 33/34/73 clearances.
• Pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist and train adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in residential locations.
• Support residents' well-being through social activities and community engagement.
• Foster a strengths-based approach and positive practices in daily routines.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to a collaborative, professional environment.
• Ensure health, safety, and orderly operation of the residence.
