Job summary

The State of Iowa’s Woodward Resource Center is hiring a Resident Treatment Supervisor (RTS) for a full-time role with a 1:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m. schedule.

This position focuses on supervising staff, coaching on competency-based care, and upholding ethical practices within the Habilitation Services team. Background checks are required. Join a dedicated interdisciplinary team delivering person-centered supports and active treatment to residents in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time work as a nursing or therapeutic assistant in a health care facility or equivalent.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and endorsements required within an determined period of hire.
• Background check required for consideration to the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff in collaboration with the home’s supervisory team, including timekeeping, investigations, and documentation according to statutes and policies.
• Provide competency-based training on ISPs, IPPs, BSP, and PNMPs; coach staff in delivering care and active treatment.
• Uphold high standards of ethical conduct and integrity; serve as a role model for the team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to support comprehensive treatment plans and community living goals.
