Job summary

PERG online is seeking a Residence Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, associates, and property. You will patrol the property, respond to safety requests, and assist in investigations while documenting thoroughly.

Qualifications include security experience, First Aid/CPR, clear English communication, and weekend evening availability. The role requires physical activity and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in all conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year security/loss prevention experience and/or customer service with guest interaction.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Clear spoken and written English communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to stay calm and handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service, problem solving and service recovery skills.
• Must be available to work Saturday-Sunday 2:30 PM-11:00 PM and indoors/outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to move and stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to ensure safety of guests, associates, and assets.
• Answer house calls to assist guests and associates with safety and operations.
• Initiate and follow up on investigations of crimes against property and persons.
• Assist sick/injured guests or associates with proper documentation and witness statements.
• Write incident and accident reports and monitor investigations to completion.
• Maintain records including camera monitoring, shift logs, and interactions.
• Monitor and distribute visitor and vendor access with badges.
• Conduct bag checks for associates leaving the property.
• Escort special guests requiring privacy through designated areas.
• Maintain confidentiality and judgment with sensitive matters.
• Assist with alarm and safety systems checks and door control.
• Support hotel management in emergencies and guide guests to safety.
• Supervise pool area and work in varied weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by LP and Rooms Division Management.
• Provide concierge services at residences.
