Job summary

The National Hotel is seeking a Security Officer for a Wednesday to Sunday shift (3:30pm-11:00pm). This role protects guests, employees and property, enforces hotel policies, and responds to emergencies while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring cameras, issuing keys, conducting safety inspections and reporting incidents promptly. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 1 year security experience in a luxury setting, and strong English

Qualifications

• High School completion required or higher.
• Ability to speak English clearly.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Enforce hotel rules and standards.
• Protect property and guests from theft and vandalism.
• Respond to medical emergencies and evacuations.
• Respond to alarms and security incidents.
• Maintain incident reports and logs.
• Distribute keys and radios to authorized personnel.
• Monitor video surveillance and access controls.
• Patrol the property and assist guests as needed.
• Assist with accommodations for guests with disabilities.
• Follow OSHA HazCom and safety procedures.
