Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking a dedicated Repack Associate for the 2nd shift at our Jeffersonville facility. You will transfer product from bulk to smaller packages, ensuring correct packaging, and help maintain a clean, organized work area to support production efficiency.

Responsibilities include quality checks, labeling, sanitation, and accurate inventory documentation. Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus; safety and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
• Food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repackaging: Transfer product from bulk containers to smaller retail or customer-ready packages.
• Quality Control: Inspect product for defects, damage, or contamination during repackaging and report issues to supervisors.
• Labeling and Documentation: Ensure accurate labeling and complete inventory/traceability records.
• Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area per food safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Compliance: Follow policies, safety regulations, and HACCP/GMP/OSHA guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work with team members and departments to meet production timelines.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and follow health and safety regulations.
