Job summary

Homewood Living Frederick is seeking an RN to assess resident care and administer prescribed medications on the Evening shift. Compensation is hourly at $37.75–$40.75 with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

The role requires an active RN license, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work closely with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team in a faith-based senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently during an eight hour shift.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Ability to react quickly in emergencies and to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing technique.
• Provide accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Assigns daily care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Transcribes and carries out physicians orders and assists visits.
• Participates in resident care planning.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Manage Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Confidential handling of resident information.
• Support physician orders.
