Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport provides the activities of daily living care to residents under licensed staff supervision. The role is part-time, evening shift, with a wage of $20.25–$21.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.
• Motivation and desire to work with geriatric persons.
• Ability to speak English at a level residents can understand.
• Ability to read and write in English to carry out care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides the activities of daily living care to residents under licensed staff supervision.
• Treats all information about residents and families as confidential.
• Assists with personal hygiene such as bathing, shaving, clothing changes, nail care, and toileting.
• Serves clean linen and makes beds to meet resident needs.
• Encourages proper nutrition by serving food promptly and assisting with feeding as needed.
• Performs resident treatments as assigned within nursing scope.
• Records resident information concisely and reports changes to the team Leader.
• Participates in resident care planning and follows the care plan.
