Job summary

Homewood Living Frederick is seeking an RN for day shift to assess direct resident care and administer prescribed medications. This full-time role requires commitment to compassionate service and adherence to nursing standards.

You will supervise Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, document care records, coordinate physician orders, and participate in resident care planning. The position offers benefits including PTO, tuition reimbursement, and health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently during an eight hour shift.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds for transfers and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assigns daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Maintains confidential information about residents and staff.
• Provides accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Participates in resident care planning and physician orders.
