Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Rectifying Technician to join our manufacturing team in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring tile is precisely sized and finished to meet quality standards and proper installation requirements.

Shift Hours: 6 PM-6 AM (2-2-3 Schedule). Responsibilities include safety, quality, and maintenance coordination within the Additional Finishes department, training new hires, and supporting maintenance and water treatment tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires strict adherence to safety protocols and ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Experience with maintenance coordination and safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times in the plant.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the Additional Finishes department.
• Follow the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for finishing operations.
• Perform lock/tag/test audits and assist in weekly safety trainings.
• Ensure product specifications are followed in the department.
• Review PM and lubrication procedures for equipment and chemicals.
• Assist supervisor in coordinating department operations.
• Train new hires on safety, policy, and operations of finishing equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance to sustain operator care programs.
• Fill-in and relief for Additional Finishes functions as needed.
• Operate loader and unloader machines and handle setup changes.
• Assist in water treatment duties and chemical applications.
• Complete other tasks as required.
