Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Recovery Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy for patients with substance use disorders.

The role focuses on evidence-based approaches within a trauma-informed framework and requires independent licensure in Kentucky (LCSW or LPCC) with a relevant master’s degree. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and autonomy for clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold independent licensure in Kentucky (LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Experience in addiction medicine, therapeutic counseling, or mental health services preferred.
• 80 hours of continuing education related to substance use disorders within four years, or within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for substance use disorders.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to monitor needs and progress.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
