Job summary

Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our team. The role involves handling the front desk, answering calls, directing visitors, and supporting administrative tasks in a community-focused facility.

Shift hours vary and include 4pm-8pm with weekday and weekend availability. We offer competitive wages based on experience, daily pay, PTO, and comprehensive benefits in a friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow receptionist schedule/instructions from supervisor and policies.
• Operate paging/telephone system as required.
• Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate person.
• Receive requests and locate personnel through paging system.
• Receive inquiries and release information per policies.
• Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name/room and emergency contacts.
• Maintain a listing of critical residents and/or those who may not receive calls.
• Greet visitors and direct to appropriate office or resident room.
• Give directions to visitors, guests, residents, and sales reps.
• Monitor presence and location of sales representatives in the facility.
• Issue and collect identification badges as sign-in/out.
• Enforce visitor rules and refuse admission when directed.
• Assist with administrative duties (typing, filing, posting accounts).
• Scan and attach medical records to resident EMR.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail as directed.
• Operate copier and office machines as directed.
• Operate computer as directed.
