Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy in Phoenix is seeking paraprofessionals to support children with autism in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. This part-time, 1:1 role focuses on building daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy.

You’ll work with the same child consistently, follow plans created by a BCBA, track progress with a mobile data tool, and coordinate with families and your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, etc.)
• ABA experience a plus
• Must pass a background check
• Afternoon/evening availability

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in their homes to support learning and growth
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
• Track progress during each session using a data system on your phone or tablet
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure consistency and effectiveness
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate wins
