Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray imaging and support diagnostic procedures. The role requires knowledge of RIS and PACS systems, along with ARRT certification and state licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT program or ARRT(R) Registry in Radiology.
• BLS certification; state license as required.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images with proper detail.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant medical history.
• Protect patients and staff using radiation safety practices.
• Adhere to local, state and national regulations and clinical protocols.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment; document results.
• Ensure accurate patient and study information for billing and RIS/PACS.
