Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams per physician orders at our Milwaukie, OR location. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate positioning, and adherence to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

The position requires Oregon radiographer licensure, ARRT certification within 180 days of hire, and BLS. New graduates must obtain a temporary OBMI license and convert to permanent within six months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire; Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations per physician orders.
• Position patients and calibrate radiation dose for quality images.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure safety and image quality.
