Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time evening shift (Tuesday–Friday, 3:00 pm–1:30 am). You will perform imaging exams per physician orders, using diverse imaging equipment, while applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

The role requires Oregon Radiographer licensure or temporary license at hire, ARRT certification within 180 days, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License (1) Or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (1).
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, using a variety of imaging equipment and applying ALARA to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborates with radiologists and care team to ensure accurate positioning and optimal imaging results.
