Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, Oregon is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time night shift (11:30pm–8am). The role involves performing imaging exams according to physician orders, using a range of imaging equipment, and applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

Ideal candidates will hold an Oregon radiographer license (or temporary license at hire), ARRT certification within 6 months, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Oregon Radiographer License required at hire.
• Temporary OBMI license acceptable at hire with obligation to obtain permanent license within 6 months.
• ARRT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging examinations per physician orders with ALARA principles.
• Position patients appropriately and calibrate exposure to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain safety and quality standards for patients and staff.
