Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a 2nd shift X-ray Tech for the Friendly Center Urgent Care. The role supports radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate identity verification, with a 40-hour week and evening schedule.

You must be ARRT registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire date, and BLS is required. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates. This position offers growth within a prominent health system.

Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
