Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, NC, is hiring for a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the Urgent Care Southend/E3 facility. The role performs radiologic exams, venipuncture, and maintains safety standards while collaborating with radiologists.

Requires AMA-approved radiologic program, ARRT registry within 6 months, and BLS; 1 year experience preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible; 36-hour weeks; benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current ARRT registry or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required by policy guidelines.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams as ordered by physician.
• Performs routine exams per department SOPs.
• Checks requisitions for physician notes/special instructions.
• Consults with Radiologist or physician as necessary.
• Selects proper technical factors on a patient basis.
• Operates equipment as directed by exam demands.
• Maintains patient records.
• Obtains specimens and performs diagnostic laboratory tests as ordered.
