Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and support the radiology team. The role requires ARRT eligibility, BLS, and the ability to accurately document patient history and identity.

Responsibilities include contrast administration, collaboration with radiologists, and precise equipment operation and patient positioning. The position is full-time with evening shifts and onsite work.

Responsibilities

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus ($10,000 for new graduates) provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements

• Location: Greensboro, NC - Friendly Center Urgent Care
• Shift Schedule: Full Time, Evenings

YOU’LL NEED

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
