Job summary

Texas Health Rockwall is seeking a Rad Tech for the evening shift in our imaging department in Rockwall, TX. The role focuses on image acquisition, patient interaction, and collaboration with radiologists and nurses to deliver accurate diagnoses and strong patient outcomes.

Requirements include ARRT certification and GMRT license, BCLS, and 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; an accredited program with an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; Associate degree preferred.
• ARRT certification required on hire; GMRT license via TDH or TMB required on hire.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Strong communication and venipuncture skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and position them for exam.
• Perform complex imaging procedures with age-related criteria.
• Assist radiologists with invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Process and adjust images; assess quality and repeat as needed.
• Coordinate with scheduling and other modalities for smooth patient flow.
