Job summary

Texas Health Rockwall is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT exams with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. Join a collaborative radiology team delivering accurate results in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires ARRT CT and CMRT, BCLS, and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program or an associate degree. 1 year radiologic technologist experience with ARRT-CT within 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred).
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or No experience with ARRT-CT (required) within 12 Months.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required, or ARRT-CT required within 12 months of radiology technician experience.
• CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by TDH or TMB required.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care (required).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to and during exam.
• Image the correct anatomical area and pathology per department protocols.
• Perform complex procedures including age-related criteria.
• Process and manipulate images, analyze quality, troubleshoot, adjust techniques as needed.
• Send and transfer images to PACS correctly.
• Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards between patients.
• Administer contrast media and other medications per guidelines.
