Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required upon hire or Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to patient or guardian prior to exam and positions patient for the exam.
• Performs imaging and assists radiologist with complex procedures using aseptic technique.
• Processes and analyzes images, adjusts technique, and coordinates with scheduling and other departments.
• Prepares room and checks orders using time-out procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of quality control and regulatory standards.
