Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for an evening shift. You will provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services, prepare patients, and perform exams with careful attention to quality and safety.

The role requires independent judgment, accuracy, and collaboration with care teams. You will also be responsible for equipment setup, image quality, and post-procedure documentation, while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R – ARRT Radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete clinical history and assesses contraindications.
• Administers contrast media per policy to ensure patient safety.
• Operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Verifies patient identifiers and orders prior to procedures.
• Maintains patient privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
• Transmits studies to PACS and ensures proper labeling.
