Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the 02190 GCMG Urgent Care: University - Immediate Care location. Full-time, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligibility. Performs radiologic examinations and related tasks with attention to safety.

Requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registry within 6 months, and a High School diploma or GED; BLS required. Base pay range shown; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program completed.
• Current ARRT registry or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• BLS certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams as ordered by physician.
• Performs routine exams per SOPs.
• Checks requisitions for notes or special instructions.
• Consults with Radiologist or physician as needed.
• Selects proper technical factors for each patient.
• Operates equipment as required by exam.
• Maintains patient records.
• Obtains specimens and performs certain diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Prepares specimens for transport to Medical Center or State Lab.
