Job summary

Albany International Corporation in Rochester, NH seeks a Quality Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). You will support new product development through test method implementation, operator training, and process validation, while ensuring final product quality by documenting discrepancies and verifying requirements.

You will train on GD&T, blueprint reading, sampling and inspection reporting, and contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement while maintaining

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inspection methods, techniques and equipment.
• Highly organized with attention to detail, able to work independently.
• Good math skills and ability to interpret drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel.
• Must have 20/20 vision (corrected or not).
• Familiar with SPC/Lean/Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Train operators on test methods and GD&T; deploy customer methods.
• Measure and document test parts for validation and release.
• Train on product release requirements and inspection documentation.
• Lead first piece inspection and assist in certification.
• Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous quality improvement.
