Job summary

Brakebush Chicken is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician I to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards on the 2nd shift in Mocksville, NC. You will perform tests, record results, and communicate findings across departments to prevent non-conforming products from reaching consumers.

Responsibilities include monitoring CCPs, maintaining records, and upholding HACCP, USDA, and GMP requirements while rotating through production lines as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit and lift a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Must complete safety trainings (Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Hazard Communication).
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tests and checks on products, including line metal detector checks, x-ray checks, and verify date code information.
• Inspect product at different stages of production to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all checks and tests for audits and customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
