Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a proactive Delivery Assurance Specialist to support supplier performance, on-time delivery, supplier development, and quality improvement across the aerospace supply chain. The successful candidate will identify and mitigate supply chain risks, monitor supplier delivery commitments, resolve production bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
• 3–5 years in supply chain, supplier development, delivery assurance, or supplier quality, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Must meet ITAR compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience with supplier assessments, production readiness, capacity planning, and delivery tracking.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier delivery commitments, portal compliance, and data accuracy.
• Review supplier recovery plans and track progress against schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to expedite critical orders.
• Analyze production capacity and bottlenecks; track WIP and delivery status using LOB or similar tools.
• Identify and elevate delivery risks, delays, and supplier non-responsiveness.
• Prepare weekly delivery status reports and management briefings; conduct supplier site visits.
• Conduct supplier assessments with Quality, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Lead Quality Improvement Plans and CAPA initiatives; update PFMEA and Control Plans.
