We are seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration, provide direct personal care, and encourage resident participation in activities, aligning with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience assisting with medication in a residential care facility for the elderly or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of state-required training/certification may be needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe environment following safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interactions across departments.
