Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to oversee the inspection and verification of incoming raw materials and to develop and maintain Standard Process Instructions for the Operations Quality Team.

This role also supports the Calibration program and assists with daily QC tasks to ensure quality standards. You will collaborate with Quality Engineers and MQE, supporting deviation closure and test evaluations, while helping drive continuous

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree preferred, or minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality role.
• Experience as a US Conec Quality Control Technician is required.
• Knowledge of optical fiber, cable, connectors and hardware products a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to plan tests and analyze and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of incoming raw material to ensure it meets the necessary specifications.
• Complete First Shot approvals of internally molded components.
• Develop, maintain, and conduct regular review of Standard Process Instructions.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to review open deviations and drive closure.
• Collaborate with MQE to document Test Run Evaluations for new and existing products.
• Assist with completion of TREs, as needed.
• Ensure dimensional measurements of incoming and molded parts align with drawings and specs.
• Assist with maintenance of USC-Texas Calibration Program.
• Assist with developing, maintaining, and conducting Training Programs for Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
• Provide technical support for Quality Control Technicians.
