Job summary

JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown seeks a Public Area Attendant for the evening shift to keep public areas pristine, respond to guest requests, and support guest services. Duties include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, and elevators, assisting with turndown service, and helping back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities cover inventory maintenance for towels and supplies, monitoring cleanliness, and executing additional cleaning projects per guidance.

Qualifications

• One+ month of related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks with speed and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all public areas of the hotel, including restrooms, lobbies, and elevators, to meet high standards of quality.
• Respond to guest requests for items such as rollaway beds, refrigerators, and other amenities, and assist with turndown service when needed.
• Clean back-of-house areas and provide assistance to hotel staff, such as vacuuming offices and checking room status.
• Maintain inventory levels for public areas, such as towels for the fitness center and pool, and notify the supervisor when supplies are low.
• Consistently monitor public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the hotel.
• Perform additional cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor, such as carpet or tile and grout cleaning.
• Follow brand standards and ensure all duties are performed to meet or exceed guest expectations.
