Job summary

Applewood Centers Inc. seeks a part-time, evening Psychiatric Nurse to join a residential behavioral health program in Northeast Ohio. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care for children and adolescents, with a focus on medication education and safety.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, ADN, and PMH nursing competency; weekend rotation and TCI training are expected. Applewood offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

ASN required; PMH nursing certification/training encouraged.
Active Ohio RN license required; BLS preferred.
Ability to work with diverse populations and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers.
Provide behavioral health education and management strategies.
Assess clients for additional treatment needs and link to services.
Document observations and interventions; serve as shift charge nurse.
