Applewood Centers is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse for the residential program in Northeast Ohio. The RN will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver care for children and adolescents with mental health issues, lead shift activities, and provide education on treatment plans.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Ohio RN license, and strong communication skills. Evening shifts (2-12, 2-8) with weekend/holiday rotation are included; benefits include

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Active Ohio Nursing license (RN) required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• 1+ year nursing experience in behavioral health or psychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers.
• Provide behavioral health education and management strategies.
• Assess clients for additional treatment needs and link to services.
• Document observations and interventions; act as shift charge nurse.
