Job summary

Applewood Centers seeks a Part-Time Evening Psychiatric Nurse to join our residential program in Northeast Ohio. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide behavioral health care, and lead department activities as shift charge nurse.

The role requires an RN license in Ohio, an associate degree in nursing, and experience in behavioral health. Evening shifts, weekend/holiday rotation, and TC I training are included.

Qualifications

• Strong nursing foundation with behavioral health focus required.
• Licensure as an Ohio RN with BLS preferred.
• Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and case managers.
• Provide behavioral health education and management strategies.
• Assess client needs and link to additional services.
• Monitor health aspects, medications and side effects.
• Lead day-to-day department activities as shift charge nurse.
• Meet with clients for triage and assessments.
• Document observations and coordinate with the team.
