Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to manage 2nd shift field and administrative operations on multi‑million dollar projects in Texas. You will plan, supervise, and direct field crews, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure safety, quality, schedule and profitability.

This role requires strong leadership and the ability to drive Lean practices across the team. The successful candidate will oversee subcontractors, develop construction plans, review shop drawings, and

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
• Excellent communication and supervisory abilities are essential.
• Ability to manage safety, quality, schedule, and profitability on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist review of shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to develop PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality and risk plans.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and prepare field status reports.
• Coordinate constructability issues and clarifications with project personnel.
• Develop and manage construction plan for successful execution.
• Ensure work is executed per contract terms profitably.
• Interact with owners and stakeholders to maintain positive client experience.
• Manage field operations and project success including safety and schedule.
• Maintain and update CPM Schedule and apply LEAN processes.
• Identify and mitigate potential claims.
• Provide leadership to project team and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement Project Quality and Safety plans per Sundt standards.
• Close punch lists and support startup and commissioning.
