Job summary

IE Corp. in Kentucky is seeking a Production Material Planner to ensure the production floor has all materials required for production, and to stage them for timely delivery. The role requires coordination with material handlers, FIFO and 5S adherence, and active involvement in shipping/receiving duties.

The candidate will help maintain inventory accuracy, support the production schedule, and operate forklifts and related equipment safely in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; two years shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to read shipping/receiving documents and communicate in English.
• OSHA forklift certification or willing to obtain within 1 month.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production cells are stocked with materials to maintain smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with material handlers to stage and deliver materials from warehouse to production floor.
• Attend weekly production schedules to anticipate material needs.
• Maintain 5S standards in work areas; organize and clean as required.
• Operate forklifts safely and move materials between areas; maintain equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors on anomalies and inventory status.
