Job summary

Thorlabs in Newton, NJ, is seeking an entry-level manufacturing support role with a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift. No experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided; responsibilities include kitting, loading/unloading machines, and basic manual machining under guidance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist workers engaged in fabricating and processing materials and parts.
• Sort and count parts and materials.
• Examine parts and materials for defects.
• Feed, load, or remove parts from machines.
• Handle and clean specialty fiber optics, precision optics, and mechanical components.
• Understand written work instructions to manufacture final products to high quality standards.
