Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations, coordinating schedules and materials to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with production, materials, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate records and drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing or production coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP/production planning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s/bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, production coordination, scheduling, or operations support preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; ERP or production planning systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production schedules to support on-time completion.
• Monitor workflow, production status, and material availability to minimize delays.
• Communicate schedule changes to supervisors and cross-functional teams.
• Track production output, downtime, shortages, and other metrics.
• Maintain production documentation, reports, and system data.
• Partner with inventory, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure materials.
• Assist with capacity planning and labor allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve workflow.
• Prepare reports for leadership on performance and schedule adherence.
• Support audits, recordkeeping, and general admin coordination for the production department.
