Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a general clerical support person to assist the production department. The role involves handling production reports, data entry, file management, and occasional production tasks, while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Training is provided, and benefits start Day One. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment and be comfortable around production areas and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to the department (update and distribute shift production report, track absences and occurrences, update calendars).
• Enter required data into the correct computer system and retrieve it on request.
• File all department paperwork accurately and timely.
• Perform production work as needed.
• Adhere to safe work practices and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality; report conditions affecting safety/quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
