Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Le Roy, IL is seeking a Utility Person to support production by safely and efficiently operating manufacturing equipment on the 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am). Training is provided during 1st shift, with opportunities to develop skills across multiple machines and processes in a team-oriented environment.

You will perform hands-on tasks such as assembling bushings, coating studs, winding cores, cleaning and packaging, and assisting with component preparation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, JSAs, and technical drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic measurement skills, including reading and using a standard ruler or tape measure.
• Ability to interpret machine gauges and equipment display readings to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Fork truck certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assembling POC and PRC bushings.
• Coating PRC studs.
• Winding cores and cutting foils.
• Cleaning, inspecting, and packaging finished bushing products.
• Assisting with the assembly and preparation of additional bushing components.
