Job summary

National Church Residences in Hilliard, OH is seeking a Non-CNA/Non-STNA to provide direct resident care on a PRN basis during 4p–10p shifts. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, help with mobility, and support nursing staff under the Charge Nurse.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years preferred, strong communication and English proficiency, and ability to work respectfully with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• Language: Must speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living, including lifting, turning, positioning, transporting, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
• Answers call lights promptly and professionally; provides restorative nursing including ROM, ambulation, and bowel/bladder training.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and engages residents in activities of interest; documents care in EMR.
• Assists nurses with tasks: measuring vitals, recording weights, making beds, and helping with new admissions.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and complies with safety and infection control policies.
• Documents resident information accurately and confidentially; reports changes to supervisor.
