Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Primary Care Physician for the Metropolitan Transition Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing medical assessments, evaluations, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting, specifically during the weekday evening shift from 3-11 PM.

Ideal candidates will possess a medical degree (MD or DO) and be Board Certified/Eligible in primary care. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a diverse population within a structured healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and CDS registration required.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessments and evaluations.
• Treat emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues.
• Supervise medical treatment for chronic medical conditions.
