Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; two years in food service in a medical setting preferred.
• Fluent English; basic math and computer skills; ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Knowledge of food service equipment, preparation, service, and safety.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to high levels of patient and customer satisfaction by meeting service and quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation ratings by following policies and completing cleaning assignments.
• Monitor product quality, ensure recipe and department guideline adherence, and manage service schedules.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules to maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete required trainings including HIPAA and compliance.
• Support other departments as needed and assist in performance improvement initiatives.
• Minimize waste and control costs; ensure equipment and supplies are properly used and maintained.
