Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Pre-Clerk in Alexandria, IN. This part-time position runs Monday–Friday from 2pm to 8pm. Starting pay is $18.76 per hour with vacation after 90 days and competitive benefits. Responsibilities include handling multi-line calls, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers.

Ideal candidates will multitask efficiently, type 30 WPM, and be dependable with strong office and communication skills. Prior clerical or logistics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask with urgency and accuracy.
• Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Dependable, well-organized and reliable.
• Must be computer literate and proficient with common software.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Outlook and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and redirect to appropriate contacts.
• Perform data entry and process driver paperwork.
• Assist dispatchers with administrative tasks.
• Support team and other duties as assigned by management.
