Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Pre-Clerk in our South Windsor, CT Service Center. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–9:00pm, with starting pay at $18.76 per hour. Responsibilities include answering calls on a multi-line system, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers.

Ideal candidates multitask well, type 30 WPM, and are computer literate. We offer an excellent benefits package including paid vacation after 90 days and access to our employee

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Dependable and well-organized.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and redirect to appropriate contacts.
• Data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers.
• Other duties may apply as requested by management.
