Job summary

PACIFIC VILLAS POST ACUTE in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to prepare and deliver clean linens for residents. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling garments, and maintaining supply inventories.

Safety and sanitary protocols must be followed, with reporting of equipment issues to the Administrator. No supervisory responsibilities are described; GED or HS diploma required with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
