Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking part-time evening instructors to teach PLCs and robotics at the Upper Valley Career Center in Ohio. Instructors will align activities with program objectives and state standards while guiding student learning and workforce readiness.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, monitoring progress, coordinating with local employers for real-world experiences, and preparing students for industry credentials. Teaching experience is preferred; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years' work experience in field of expertise OR Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in field of expertise plus 3 years' work experience in the industrial maintenance and machine repair profession with PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning activities that encourage teamwork and employability skills.
• Develops lesson plans for classroom and laboratory settings.
• Monitors student progress using formal and informal assessments.
• Coordinates with employers to provide real-world experiences for students.
• Prepares students for industry credential assessments.
• Assists program coordinator with curriculum development and course scheduling.
