Job summary

The Scoular Company is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the Burlington, WA area to lead evening shift operations, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate logistics with Plant Manager and other teams. The role emphasizes execution, team development, and customer service in a fast-paced facility.

The position requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, familiarity with blend and mix processes, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Previous experience with recruitment, additional supervisory experience
• Experience in personnel leadership and management
• Knowledge of blend and mix processes
• Ability to independently solve problems
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of merchandising, safety and operational processes

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior on-site resource during the evening shift, providing direction and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance needs for the facility to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Ensure product quality, quantity and inventories; manage inbound and outbound product flow.
• Direct vendors and customers in daily production and process activities.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure smooth flow of product in and out of the facility.
• Drive Employee Safety agenda and improvement; lead safety meetings and inspections.
• Supervise and develop the team, including training and performance management.
• Engage and inspire teams through inclusive leadership and strong communication.
