Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, processing, and data entry across multiple sites including PSCs, hospitals, and mobile services.

The role requires phlebotomy program completion or experience, state certification, and the ability to work evenings with travel as needed. A focus on patient safety, privacy (HIPAA), and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Dependent on department/location, valid state driver’s license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receipt biological specimens and enter data into the company system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to appropriate area.
• Ensure patient and specimen identification and integrity per procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and quality documentation and meet productivity standards.
• Communicate courteously with internal and external customers and support multi-location coverage.
