Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks a phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across hospital facilities, PSCs, in-office sites, and mobile units. The role may cover multiple locations and requires accurate labeling and timely processing of specimens.

You will verify patient demographics, prepare samples for testing, and document data in the LIS while upholding HIPAA and quality standards. New grads welcome with stated base pay rates; experience eligible for higher pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent may be required depending on state regulations.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license where employed and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Flexibility to travel to multiple locations and cover mobile phlebotomy sites with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify demographics, physician data, tests, and collection details in the LIS.
